No Type is a web-based label founded in 1998 by David Turgeon. The aim has been to release electronic music by unknown artists free of charge as MP3s. Nowadays there are almost 50 artists on No Type and more than 70 audio projects have been dispersed through the website.
As time has gone by the label’s activity has lead to a subsequent release of commercial CDs, which will number eight issues during 2002.
