Now what is this? The answer is simple, so simple: It’s a mix of Martin Luther King’s famous speech in Washington, D.C. on 28th August 1963 and part II of Terry Riley’s Persian Surgery Dervishes, recorded in Paris, France on 24th May 1972.

I woke up this morning thinking about King and Riley. I may have to do with a TV program I watched the night before, about the Beat Generation and the developments in the USA in late Fifties, early Sixties. Anyway, I could hear this combination of King’s speech and Riley’s hypnotic electric organ improvisation inside my head as I woke up, and proceeded to make this remix of those two important soundings – and the result merged perfectly with the sound I’d heard in my mind on waking up.
That’s how simple the explanation for this CD is…

I used some pictures I’ve shot just recently around the area where I live in Sweden, inland as well as out in the wondrous archipelago of the Baltic Sea, for the cover.
