A regular feature of the STOCKHAUSEN COURSES of the year 2002 in Kürten outside Cologne in Germany was the seminars, conducted daily by Professor Stockhausen in the late afternoons, between the master classes earlier in the afternoons and the public concerts held in the evenings.

The seminars dealt with Stockhausen's work DER KINDERFÄNGER (The Pied Piper), which is a part of MONTAG AUS LICHT (Monday from Light). After each formal seminar Stockhausen opened up the seminars into discussions, which were free for anyone present to take part in. Parts of the discussions pertained to DER KINDERFÄNGER per se, while other parts freely ventured into the Stockhausen adventure as such, bringing up a varied scope of aspects. I recorded these very interesting question-and-answer sessions for Sonoloco Record Reviews, and they are presented here without any obvious editing, simply distinguished by the dates when they were held.

It will take some time before all of them are transcribed and presented here.
