A regular feature of the STOCKHAUSEN COURSES of the year 2002 in Kürten outside Cologne in Germany was the seminars, conducted daily by Professor Stockhausen in the late afternoons, between the master classes earlier in the afternoons and the public concerts held in the evenings.
The seminars dealt with Stockhausen's work DER KINDERFÄNGER (The Pied Piper), which is a part of MONTAG AUS LICHT (Monday from Light).
I recorded these very interesting seminars for Sonoloco Record Reviews, and they are presented here without any editing, except with a few insertions here and there inside brackets with my own explanatory notes. The seminars are simply distinguished by the dates when they were held.
It will take some time before all of them are transcribed and presented here. |
